Quick and Easy snacks they will love
I wanted to add a quick post on some of the snacks I have found to be on the for sure to work list. I know I am not the only mom who struggles with picky-toddlers, (and older.)
These are a few of my tried-and-true favorite snacks, and sides for meals, or lunches. These easy recipes are good, if you are not afraid to mix up a little, Or a lot, of guaranteed delicious, in return for guaranteed consumption of the good food groups.
PEANUT BUTTER ROLL-UPS
Grab a tortilla, and slap some peanut butter on it.
add a little bit of honey, and tiny pieces of diced apple,
then add some raisins,
Roll up tight.
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Cream Cheese
1/2 Cup of brown sugar
1/2 Cup of white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
mix together. Use apples, or strawberries to dip.
1 pkg. (8 oz) Cream Cheese
2 Tbs. of honey
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
mix well. (your hand will get tired) 🙂
This is so good on blueberry bagels!
EVA’S FRUIT SALAD
grape slices, and or bananas
and tiny marshmallows
Mix and add more yogurt to your liking.
I put this in a cup to eat from– I get less drips this way.
