A little about my Brood
Notice, my youngest; hair a mess, shirt sticking out. Cute as can be, though! When we started our hike, her hair was up. She yanked it down. Probably had a pretty bow that was lost that day, too.
This is us. This is why I chose to put “real” in my title. All 3 of the little ones probably have dirty faces, and my oldest boy is in serious need of a haircut. I know…also, my picture is blurry.
Don’t get me wrong–my kids are clean, their fingernails, always short. Clean clothes everyday. I am a fanatic when it comes to that stuff. What you won’t see often, is, strategically placed children with perfectly placed sparkle amidst their adorable little grins… I mean, it would take me all day to get that perfect shot, and I would be an exhausted mama. I do plan to take the time to get those really awesome pictures of me playing with the kids–you know the ones that resemble the cover of the movie, “The sound of music.”
We will see how that goes…
Our kids, in order; Lovely girl 1, the oldest— and will show it in every move she makes. She is a responsible, wise, old-soul of 16 years. She is currently writing a novel.
Lovely girl 2, second oldest, is equally responsible as her Sister. She is unique in all ways, and is a talented artist and writer. She is almost 15, and is currently writing, and illustrating a book series for kids.
I can tell you, in pure honesty, that I can count on these two for anything. I wish I would’ve been so good to my own mother, at this age…
Handsome boy 1, is 11 years old. He is talented in ALL things without much effort. This kid can master just about anything–from magic tricks– to drawing– to skateboard tricks — to anything I left out. Oh, except for following simple orders. He could engineer a contraption with pulleys, or whatever; with working lights, but he cannot remember to close the cabinet door, which really drags out my O.C.D..emon.
Then, there is sweet boy 2, who is six years old. He is the most considerate little guy, and has these huge, compassionate eyes that twinkle when he tells a story. This little fella cried for his first 2 years of life! (no lie.) I never would have imagined he would blossom into the incredible little man he is, at such a tender age.
Almost finished with the intro..stay with me. 🙂
We have another sweet boy 3, who at the age of five, can figure out how to work just about any electronic device. He’s got some sweet moves, too, and loves music. I can never resist his wide, sincere eyes–he is so cuddly, with skin like squishy-velvet.
Finally, our baby– sweet girl 3. She is everyone’s baby, and knows it. She is comical – she is lovely – she is girly – she is dainty, and pretty. She is a precious giggle in our home. She is quiet, and polite. She is a real special edition. She is our 3 year old.
“Children are a heritage from the Lord. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.” Psalm 127:3-4
