Hi There! I’m Amy.
I am a Christian, stay-at-home, homeschooling mom of six kids. 3 beautiful girls, (aged 16 down to 3) and 3 sweet boys, (aged 11 down to 5.)
I have been married to a wonderful man for nearly 18 years, who happens to be a talented musician.
I am an aesthetically– driven person. I love pretty. I love functionality, and I love when things flow well. I believe there is a place for everything, and indeed, everything belongs in it’s place.
I love my family. I love taking care of my family, even when it comes to the ugly stuff. Don’t misunderstand—I get frustrated, I fail, I question, I doubt, and I have UGLY days.
Inside even the worst of days, there is beauty. There is hope. There is perseverance. That is sweet Motherhood, at it’s finest.
Life is difficult. Motherhood–even more difficult.
The most important, and rewarding; the most heart-wrenching, yet tender, and lovely duty—Being a mother is a blessing wrapped in tears of joy and hours of worry. A dutiful honor; with times to marvel at the progress of your tireless effort. I think it is the most wonderful title.
I embrace Motherhood with all my might. I also embrace making our home a wonderful, comfortable, and pretty space for my family. We are currently refurbishing our 127 year old Victorian Farmhouse.
I am sharing some of my life, in hopes to be a source of encouragement to anyone who needs it, as God uses my trials, and my times of rejoicing to strengthen my fellow-mama.
Join me, in sharing all things home, and all things mom. I look forward to becoming friends through the sweet journey of Motherhood, and homemaking!
